1. EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or EDMR, is a therapy that involves eye movement from side to side when feeling distressed. It’s been used as a practical approach to soothing anxious and depressive thoughts.

Here’s the hack though:

You do EDMR naturally while you walk. As a primal tendency, you tend to look side to side as you’re walking in order to spot threats, food, etc.

Clinical EDMR therapy can be helpful for those who are bedridden due to illness or injury, but if you’re mobile, just take it to the streets. Many people don’t like walks because it doesn’t burn a lot of calories, but I would argue it’s probably the best exercise out there when you weigh the impact vs. the numerous psychological benefits you receive.

2. Elixirs

The reason you’re in a bad mood or anxious could be emotional, mental, or physiological. We don't often think of food as medicine, but it can be. Here are a few examples.
