Follow This Regimen To Feel Normal Again
I am currently practicing the following regimen to rejoin civilization. After two years of COVID craziness, I feel like the world is starting to get somewhat normal again, and I want to try to regain some of the normalcy I lost.
Keep in mind, while it helps to have friends for these activities, you can do these alone as it's just about getting back out of there for your own mental health.
1. Lunch/Brunch Date
Lunch is such an underrated activity. Getting out during the day into the sun so you can go into another building is a nice leap forward. I love dining with people because we get to catch up and the dishes look vibrant. Even if you don’t have friends, just go out and eat something that comes on a plate instead of the stuff dropped off at your door, or the same crap you've been making at home for a while. Be waited on, people-watch, maybe even bring a book..what else can you ask for? Don't skip this one!
