I don’t consider Stoicism a real philosophy. It was more of a movement 2.000 years ago, and has only now become relevant because it’s sentiments pair well with late-stage capitalism.

It’s currently useful for its practical application to life in terms of anxiety relief and acceptance, but doesn’t contribute to the history of thought very much.

I’m sorry if you like reading it, but I consider it closer to pop psychology than philosophy.
