How To Stop These 7 Negative Emotions In Their Tracks
Emotions can appear to run rampant and come out of nowhere, but I have stopped believing they are random. Specific emotions are not just unpleasant noise, they are our mind's way of letting us know it’s time to do something. Our body itself does this all the time; our stomach talks to us when we are hungry or it gets upset when we eat the wrong thing.
I want to give you one strategy for 7 different negative emotions. Do this one activity when you are feeling the emotion and stop it dead in its tracks!
1. Uninspired
If creativity or enthusiasm is waning, take a shower. The steam can be relaxing and rejuvenating, so when you get out, energy and brain activity gets a reboot. Cleaning the physical body can also make the mind ready to start over fresh too.
I finish it off with a cold shower. Your mind lets go of the unnecessary and just focuses on staying warm enough to survive. This always seems to clear the way for new ideas and energy to emerge, no matter what time of the day.
