Faith in humanity is once again depleted

This year, several accounts on social media revealed that some men simply aren't washing down there. People came out of the woodwork and added their own tales and apparently, part of the American male population is not wiping or cleaning their ass because it is dirty or feels gay.
This makes no sense because A) if it’s dirty that’s precisely why it should be washed, but maybe they mean “dirty” like it is just a naughty dirty place in general, which leads me to B) if cleaning your ass feels gay, you are probably, in fact, gay, or have at least considered getting pegged. There’s nothing wrong with that, but the extent to which the most homophobic alpha males willingly reveal their closeted nature astonishes me.
This could also be why the bidet has had stunted popularity in America, women love it, but perhaps men do not like the idea of anything touching down there.
