These Things Are Classy If You’re Rich, But Trashy If You’re Poor

What something “is” depends all on “who” is doing it

We live in a country that worships rich people. There are many things that the rich do that are considered classy, but if poor people do them, they are considered trash. Here are just some of them:

1. Day Drinking

When poor people drink during the day, we consider them a drain on society that’s hard to look at. When is it going to end? Who is going to help them?!?

It doesn't even need to be a homeless person, it can just be a slightly poor person down on his luck sitting at the bar, and people will be like, “Get your life together!” or worse “Get a damn job!”

On a weekday, rich people day-drinking either took a day off to blow off some steam from their “crazy” work-life or are just wealthy enough to do this casually. Either way, people applaud them for being so bold. On the weekend, it’s tailgating, brunch mimosas, or watching footy at an “authentic” Irish pub. Then they silently stumble into an Uber ride driven by someone twice their age and/or twice as educated, pretending they are entitled to this decadence and celebrating it on social media. Hey, as long as it’s Italian wine or limited edition…
