Many negative things in life like…mediocrity, bad health, depression, anxiety don't happen overnight. It’s the “death of a thousand cuts,” you slowly build up enough excuses and bad habits that build up and bring you there.

Success is the same way.

Our mind is like an immune system, when it senses too much change it defends and recoils. Introduce small changes each day under its radar and you can sneak past.

If you take anything from this article, check out the many hacks I utilized using the 1% method each day.

Utilizing the 1% Rule

Each morning, think about what one thing you can do or learn about to bring you just 1% closer to your goal. And do it.

The goal is to change a little, but imperceptibly enough that your level of comfort doesn't activate its defenses.

Every goal and every desire is achieved through building it slowly, one brick at a time, eventually finding yourselves surrounded by what you built.
